Anti-scam and phishing notice
Nodedistro takes impersonation, phishing, and scam emails seriously. If someone uses our name, logo, domain, staff names, or product brands to mislead people, those messages may be reported for abuse and investigated through the appropriate channels.
Official reminder
Nodedistro will never ask for passwords, one-time codes, private keys, or urgent payments through unsolicited email. If a message feels suspicious, treat it as unsafe until you can verify it through an official Nodedistro contact method.
We will never ask for
- Your password, one-time login code, or private account credentials.
- Urgent payment through gift cards, crypto, wire transfers, or unusual payment links.
- Remote access to your device through an unsolicited email.
- Sensitive business information before you have verified who you are speaking with.
Common warning signs
- The sender address does not match an official Nodedistro email address.
- The message creates pressure with threats, deadlines, or account closure claims.
- Links point to unfamiliar domains or shortened URLs.
- The email contains spelling mistakes, odd formatting, or unexpected attachments.
- You are asked to keep the request secret or bypass normal contact methods.
What to do
- Do not click links, open attachments, or reply to the suspicious message.
- Forward the message to your email provider using its report phishing or report spam option.
- If money, credentials, or personal information were shared, contact your bank, provider, or account administrator immediately.
- Send a note to Nodedistro through our contact page if the scam is impersonating our brand.
Abuse reporting
Scam emails may be reported
Fraudulent messages impersonating Nodedistro may be reported to email providers, domain registrars, hosting providers, anti-abuse services, and other security teams. These reports help reduce harm and make it harder for impersonators to reuse fake domains or email accounts.
